Musical Rhythm is basically binary (by 2 at all levels) and all the "irregular" rhythmic structures will be produced by the "ablation" (removal) of one specific quarter at any given level (or possibly levels). If the ablation is made at all possible levels, we will always have a Fibonacci rhythmical structure. For now we will only see the ablation at one level |
